September 8, 2010I've said for some time that Gio Ponti is America's best older turf horse, by far. But Gio Ponti has lost some races in 2010 that he didn't or wouldn't have lost in 2009. The horse he was beaten by in the Arlington Million, Debussy, is a good European turf horse.
